I work with this company on many projects. The owner wanted a logo that was simple and classy. I love type as image so I went that route. I added the film strip in the middle for the obvious. I wanted to include an image with type but subtly.
Currently I am making animations that incorporate the logo. The animations open up and then a video will play within the logo. This reinforces the logo and uses repetition in doing it. Not only that, but the logo can be stretched open (the film strip) and have a message inside.

This is a logo redesign for a company in California. I created many different version of this logo. I ended up only changing the fonts and adding the right images. The client wanted someone leading or showing the way to a bunch of people. So I created group based on the main person. This version was picked out of many! I will add a page of scraps and versions of designs later.

This was a logo done in my last design class at WCU. This logo I created was selected to be the future logo for School of Art and Design of WCU.
I went in the direction of a school "crest." So as I like to do, I used type as image again. The logo had to use the same colors as the school colors.
