"Drill bit"

This is a 2x4 cut in half length-wise and then glued together. Now you have a 4x4. I cut the 4x4 until it resembles a long cylinder. Then I hand sanded to get it smooth. I then researched and measured the angle at the top of a real drill bit. I cut them with a jigsaw. I then drew a groove shape on a piece of paper, cut it out, and then traced it onto the cylinder. I then continued and dremeled the lines out and chiseled between the dremeled lines. After that, I made everything smooth by sanding and voila!

This project made me really wish I had a lathe to use!

"Tongue"

This was a project made with concrete, that I was required to make into an organic shape. So I thought of a tongue. First I started making a frame with foam. The later I used chicken wire over the frame to create the flowing shape and proceeded by applying cement on the wire. I used rocky cement on top to create a taste bud feel. After that I spray painted it pink.

*Sorry for the surroundings and the shade, the tongue is an hour away and I had a small window of time to take some shots. I would've moved it, but it is about 250-300lbs.
